why aren’t these being reblogged more often?
i rather see these than “keys in hand”Fatality
Don’t mind the caption, just look at the pictures and learn.
It skips step 7
Keep your hands up around your face (holding them in a fist) at all times. Don’t just let them flop! Seriously, if you’re being attacked try to keep your hands up by your face, it’s quicker if you want to hit them, quicker if you want to defend yourself, and it keeps them away from your face.
Also, be loud! Be as loud as possible. Shout and whatnot. It will be fucking intimidating. Plus, it draws attention, if you’re shouting and defending yourself and make it known that you’re being attacked people are more likely going to notice.
And another thing, the diagrams touch on it lightly but use your elbows if possible! They’re really strong, hurt like anything if you’re hit with one, and you don’t need to much about hurting yourself when you hit with your elbow.
Also, if you ever do get someone who grabs you by the neck here is what you do:
Put your hands up in the air like this:
This will first off show to others that you’re being attacked, it’s also a universal sign for surrendering, and it gets your arms ready for you to escape (and kick ass).
Twist your body to bring your arms to the side, bringing one down as hard as you can on your attackers arms to get them away from your neck/lapels/collar/whatever they’re grabbing in your neck area:
This will push your attacker’s hands away from your neck area which will allow you to breath. While you are doing them you can also move back if you want to.Next you can punch them (or kick them, though I’d suggest if you decide to kick them don’t do anything fancy unless you know how! Just kick for the knees or between the attacker’s legs):
What I’m doing in the picture is called a cross. I’m twisting back towards the attacker (remember you twist your body to the side when you bring your arm down on the attacker’s arms). If you notice I also have my free hand up by my face, that’s where you should have it. Keep it in a fist right now.
What I’m doing in this picture is called a jab. You bring the hand that you used for the cross back up to your face, and punch straight with the hand that had previously been back by your face.
Remember when you’re punching to punch with this part of your fist:
It’ll still hurt your attacker, but it means you won’t end up with hurt knuckles!
On a final note, I’d suggest that everybody (doesn’t matter what gender) takes at least one self defence class to understand the basics of how to defend yourself.
(I’ve got a black belt in taekwondo, and spent the four years prior to this learning how to do self defence, and all of that fun stuff).
Hope this was somewhat helpful!
so important, reblogging this on main blog

Since we are about 400 miles apart on any given day, we don’t get too many real dates. We are unable to go to dinner and a movie every weekend, so we do our very best to make up for it. We watch movies together… It’s that simple.
Sometimes it is hard to…
Sleep http://wp.me/s3rag5-sleep
Get sleep. I understand that because the love of your life is far away that you wish to talk 24/7 but I’m telling you right now, you can’t survive without sleep. It will just cause fights and it is not worth it at all. So, if you’re tired just say so, and…
